EE-Business-Extra+-plans

EE has announced the arrival of a new series of business tariffs that are designed for SMEs that want to promote their business in other countries.

The EE Business Extra+ plan allows for an unlimited number of calls and texts between the US, UK and EU countries. In addition, it offers a daily data allowance within the EU.

YouGov has carried out a survey on behalf of EE and discovered that British companies are expecting to have around 25% international trade growth within the next five years. 1,000 business decision makers took part in the survey, which found that more than half of companies are planning to increase trade within the US, and more than 80% are currently dealing with Western European countries or will be doing so within a few years.

The ability to make international calls has been labelled as critical for more than two-thirds of companies that trade with other countries, and three quarters of businesses have said that being able to use mobile phones while abroad is essential for efficiency while they are travelling.

The new business plan from EE following its takeover by BT includes 50GB of data every month while in the UK, and there is 500MB of data each day as part of the Euro Data pass.

BT Director of SME Product Marketing Lydia Hicks said that companies in the UK are not slowing down with international trade ambitions, and the new plans are designed to help them to forge ahead.
