EE-customers-can-get-BT-Sport-for-free

A new offer from EE allows customers to get access to BT Sport for free for a period of six months.

The offer means that customers can stream Premier League football matches for free without the need for a subscription to the sports channels. EE customers on consumer and small business pay monthly handset, tablet and SIM only plans can take advantage of the offer which begins on 27th July.

Only a few of the matches that are to be shown have been announced, and as the offer is only valid for six months, customers will not be able to follow the whole of the season this way.

Premier League football is not the only sport that customers will be able to watch. All sports shown via the BT Sport app can be accessed. Various other football tournaments, rugby tournaments, MotoGP and America’s Cup are all scheduled to be broadcast through BT Sport.

The app can be downloaded on smartphones and tablets that are compatible with Windows 10, iOS and Android. It is available from all of the relevant app stores.

Customers should be aware that once the initial six-month free period has come to an end, the app will become a 30-day rolling add-on, and there will be a charge of £5 each month. This could still be a great deal for those who don’t want to pay for a full subscription to the BT Sport channels.

This offer is apparently the first in a series of value offers for EE customers so that they can access BT apps and services at a lower rate.
