Vodafone has just extended its 4G roaming service to cover 101 countries, putting it ahead of other UK providers.

The increase of 27 countries vaults Vodafone ahead of its rivals. Its 4G roaming is now offered around the world, and its newly added destinations include Pakistan, Turkey, India and Jamaica.

In May, Vodafone introduced 40 destinations for inclusive roaming. This offer is available to both new customers and existing customers on Pay Monthly Red and Red Value bundles. The company claims that this is more than is offered by other UK providers.

The packages in question also offer the user unlimited roaming calls, texts and even picture messages. For those who want to access online services, there is a massive data allowance each month of 4GB, making it very easy to keep in touch while travelling.

The company also has a deal on for those who use PAYG services. In July and August, purchasing £10, £15 or £20 Big Value Bundles will get customers 500MB of data, 100 texts and 100 minutes for calls while they are in one of the inclusive roaming zones.

Vodafone also offers the WorldTraveller package for those travelling outside of the included regions. For an additional £5 per day, customers are able to make use of their allowances from the UK when they are in one of 58 countries. These include Brazil, Australia, the US and South Africa. Customers are also not charged when calls are received.
