According to leaked documents, Apple will be introducing three new iPhones next week. The company has invited journalists to a 10:00 am press conference on 12th September at its Cupertino, California campus but has not officially divulged any other details.

Two models will feature OLED displays measuring 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches respectively. The leaked information states that Apple will use the name “iPhone XS” to describe these two models, and retail prices should be in the same range as the current iPhone X.

The third model will be a more affordable iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD display. The leaked documents suggest that the device will have a Full Active LCD display, which would be a technological improvement over the displays on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

All three models will have edge-to-edge displays and a TrueDepth front-facing camera system that supports Face ID.

The two OLED iPhone XS models will include all the latest features of the iPhone X. However, according to the leaked documents, Apple will eliminate some of these features in the 6.1-inch LCD model. Instead of a stainless-steel frame, the phone will have an aluminium frame. Also, it will have a rear-facing single lens camera, and the LCD display might not support 3D Touch.

The expected US retail price for the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone will be between $600 (£470) and $700 (£545), putting it in the same price range as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The expected retail price for the 5.8-inch iPhone XS will be between $800 (£625) and $900 (£700), while the expected retail price for the 6.5-inch iPhone XS will be between $900 (£700) and $1,000 (£780).
