EE-Harrier-&-Harrier-Mini-on-table

It has been announced that EE is launching affordable own-brand 4G smartphones complete with WiFi Calling.

Two new smartphones will be available: the EE Harrier and the Harrier Mini. These devices will offer some of the cheapest 4G services available and will connect to EE’s double speed network.

The Harrier has a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, the latest version of Android (Lollipop), a 5.2-inch HD screen and a 13MP rear-facing camera. It will cost £199.99 if the customer wants to purchase the handset on a pre-paid tariff; alternatively, it will be free with a monthly 4GEE contract costing from £21.99 a month. This smartphone is also an option for small business customers.

EE has also launched the Harrier Mini 2, which has a 4.7-inch screen, the latest version of Android and an 8MP camera. Customers can pay £99.99 on a pre-paid tariff or free of charge with a monthly contract costing from £16.99.

The CEO of EE, Pippa Dunn, said that the company has worked hard to create these new devices with all the features that customers expect. She explained: “The Harrier and Harrier Mini are another big step forward and will allow even more people to benefit from a premium smartphone without the premium price – as well as provide access to a superfast 4G experience that only the UK’s biggest and fastest mobile network can provide.”
