Apple has unveiled its latest smartphones – the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max – that feature improved screens, more durable batteries, new cameras and faster processors.

All three models will be available in the UK on 20th September.

The company announced its latest line-up at its headquarters in Cupertino, California on Tuesday.

The latest iPhones provide upgrades from the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR models that were introduced last year.

The new models feature similar screen sizes and designs, with narrow bezels and a notch for the Face ID feature at the top, which Apple first introduced with the iPhone X in 2017.

The trio features new colours, with the back of the iPhone 11 Pro featuring a new matt finish.

Apple claims that all the new iPhones boast the fastest GPU and CPU ever to be featured in a smartphone, with all three models containing a new A13 Bionic chip.

However, none of them support the latest 5G networks that have recently launched in the US, UK and elsewhere.

Despite this, the service is expected to reach many cities and towns by the end of this year.

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max

The iPhone Pro features a 5.8-inch screen, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max sports a huge 6.5-inch screen.

Both models have enhanced Super Retina XDR OLED displays that are brighter, have a higher resolution and a more efficient battery.

The tech giant said that the battery in the iPhone 11 Pro has four hours more life than the one in the iPhone XS, while the battery in the iPhone 11 Pro Max can last five hours longer than the one in the iPhone XS Max.

The major addition in these two models is a triple 12-megapixel camera system, which works in a similar manner to the dual-camera system in previous iPhone models.

The three-camera system combines the main lens with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with a zoom capability from 0.5x to 2x, keeping up to speed with products offered by its rivals.

The new cameras also provide better performance than rival phones in low-light conditions via the new night-mode feature.

The company has also upgraded its TrueDepth selfie camera with a 12-megapixel lens.

The iPhone 11 Pro costs from £1,049, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max costs from £1,149.

iPhone 11

The iPhone 11 is a replacement for the iPhone XR.

It features a 6.1-inch screen and has a dual-camera version of Apple’s latest system, adding a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens to the traditional 12-megapixel lens that comes with the iPhone XR.

Both cameras in this less-expensive iPhone can take videos at up to 4K at 60 frames per second.

The iPhone 11 has the same type of liquid crystal display as the iPhone XR and features the same glass and aluminium design but with tougher glass.

According to Apple, the battery in the iPhone 11 has one hour more of life than the one in the iPhone XS.

The iPhone 11 costs from £729.
