Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming iPhone launch, which the company has named “Wonderlust”.

Set to take place on 12th September, Apple is set to unveil a wealth of new products in addition to the latest generation of iPhone: the iPhone 15.

The iPhone 15 is expected to be introduced alongside the iPhone 15 Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

It is believed that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will have minor upgrades from their predecessors, while the Pro and Pro Max versions will see several significant changes.

Rumours suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will include a new chip, a replacement for the handset’s mute switch, and improvements to the camera. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will come equipped with a periscope camera to improve its zoom capabilities.

The Wonderlust event will probably also mark the move away from Apple’s famous Lightning connector, with the company believed to be switching to a USB-C connection.

This move will mark the first adaptation to the brand’s connector since its controversial introduction over a decade ago.

For fans of Apple’s broader product offerings, September 12th should also see the unveiling of the Apple Watch Series 9 and an upgrade to the Apple Watch Ultra.

Rumours have also been circulating about the launch of an updated version of Apple’s AirPods Pro, although it’s unclear whether this relates to the switch to USB-C, or something more significant.

Industry experts are also expecting Apple to talk about its eagerly anticipated headset, which was first announced more than a year ago at the Worldwide Developers Conference. Despite not being due for launch until early 2024, many believe that Apple will provide an update at the Wonderlust event.
